This mailing list is dedicated to discussions in the area of what Migs Paraz calls "True CS" -- core computer science topics like data structures, algorithms, automata, and beyond. Discussions on the list should neither be limited to nor biased for particular operating systems, programming languages, architectures, or what have you. Flamewars on such nitty-gritties will please be done somewhere else in the Universe. In this list we attempt to abstract ourselves from all reality and discuss problems and solutions as theoretically as the discipline of Computer Science will take us. Subscribing to CompSci
Subscribe to CompSci by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
